At this point I’m probably spending too much time on appearance and not enough on content, but it’s fun to poke around and get things looking like I want.
And frustrating when I’m not figuring it out.
Which goes back to some thoughts I had about making my presentation “professional”.
At first I’m thinking I want WCCSCI.com to look professional, to be convincing and trustworthy so people jump on board with us.
But then I was reminded that Christ is “relational”, not “professional”. So I do want the site itself to not be a distraction, but in the end the content and presentation are geared to fostering relationship.
Foremost, I want you to have a solid, growing relationship with our Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ. From that I hope He moves you to build a participatory relationship with me.
You’re welcome to spectate, but that is non-relational and Lifeless. If you aren’t moved to at least cheer and/or give thanks and praise to God for what He’s doing, then either I’m missing the mark with what I’m presenting on this website or you’re missing out on God’s best for you through my presentation (or both?!).
It’s so easy to be passive. I encourage you to engage with what is going on in this website. Even better, engage with what is actually happening that this website is representing.
Or make a conscious choice to disengage.
Both don’t allow yourself to be entertained. Don’t click and go away unchanged.
“I [Jesus] came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10) This is His call to you.
